Chai Tea Eggnog Cookies

Ingredients
1 teabag with tea set
1 pack cookie sugar mix (17.5 oz)
½ cup melted butter
1 large egg
4 tablespoons eggnog, divided
Parchment paper
Sugar with cinnamon
1 cup powdered sugar
½ teaspoon fresh grated nutmeg

Tea gives this cookie a piquancy, and the eggnog filling adds sweetness.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Remove the tea leaves from the teabag; discard the teabag.Combine the tea leaves, cookie mixture, butter, egg and 2 tablespoons eggnog until smooth.Place the dough in tablespoons on baking sheets lined with parchment paper. Lightly flatten the dough with the bottom of a glass dipped in cinnamon sugar.Bake at 350 ° C for 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned. Transfer from a baking sheet to a wire rack and let cool completely (about 10 minutes).Whisk together the powdered sugar, nutmeg, and remaining 2 tablespoons. Beat the eggnog until smooth. Spoon out the cooled cookies.Note: We tested with organic black tea Tazo Chai.
