Ingredients
3 tablespoons canola oil
1 tablespoon sesame oil
½ medium-sized white onion, finely chopped
2 celery stalks, sliced
1 tablespoon chopped fresh ginger
3 cups shredded kale salad
5 oz bean sprouts
1 (7.1 oz) kg pre-cooked stir-fry noodles
¼ cup tamari
2 tablespoons mirin or white wine
To make
You can make this panda Express dish at home in less time than it would take to load it into your car and hit the road. Even better, you can easily prepare our "Chow Mein Simulator" dish by adding any favorite vegetables that you have on hand. If you want to add grits as a main course to this easy noodle dish, add the protein of your choice — leftover chicken, shrimp, or a freshly fried egg will be a great addition (and you won't have to pay extra for them).
Heat the oil in a wok over high heat. Add the onion, celery, and ginger; cook, stirring frequently, for 1 minute. Add the coleslaw mixture and sprouts; cook, stirring constantly, for 2 minutes. Add the noodles and cook, stirring constantly, for 1 minute. Add the tamari and mirin; cook, stirring occasionally, for 2 minutes.
