Ingredients

2 1/4 cups flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons sugar
1/4 cup melted butter
1 tablespoon dried garlic powder
3 cups grated cheddar cheese
3/4 cup milk
1 tablespoon dried parsley (optional)

This quick bread requires no rising time because it uses baking powder instead of yeast. Even though it is fast to make, the result is a delicious bread that is perfect for a weeknight dinner. Any type of medium or hard cheese can be used to suit your tastes. They are best served warm!

  1. Mix flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, melted butter, garlic, and parsley in a bowl
  2. Add cheese and mix until crumbly
  3. Add milk, mix well to form dough
  4. Roll dough into 12 small balls, all the same size
  5. Bake for about 15 minutes at 400°f or until golden
