Ingredients

1 cup heavy cream
2 tablespoons powdered sugar
6 ice cream sandwiches (3.5 oz each)
2 1.5-ounce chocolate bars or 1/2 cup chocolate chips, chopped

To make

With just four ingredients, turn ordinary ice cream sandwiches into an impressive frozen dessert in no time.
Line an 8 1/2-by 4 1/2-inch bread pan with a sheet of waxed paper or parchment so that the paper hangs down on both long sides.In a large bowl, whisk together the cream and sugar until stiff peaks form.Place 3 sandwiches in a single layer on the bottom of the pan, cutting them to size as needed. Spread with half of the whipped cream. Repeat with the remaining sandwiches and whipped cream. Sprinkle the top of the cake with a sliced chocolate bar. Cover with plastic wrap and freeze until frozen, at least 1 hour and a maximum of 1 week.Hold on to the protrusion of paper on both sides, remove the cake from the mold and transfer to a platter. Remove the paper, cut the cake into slices and serve.
