Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken

Ingredients

½ pound fettuccine, raw
1 pound boneless and skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
¼ cup reduced-fat, low-sodium chicken broth
4 teaspoons flour
4 oz (1/2 of 8 oz) PHILADELPHIA Neuchatel cheese, diced
3 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese, divided
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
¼ teaspoon pepper

Creamy sauce, juicy chicken, excellent pasta al dente, sprinkled with fresh herbs...all that's missing is a waiter and a receipt.
PREPARE the pasta as indicated on the package.Meanwhile, heat a large nonstick skillet drizzled with cooking spray over medium-high heat. Add the chicken; cook for 5-7 minutes. or until the chicken is cooked through, stirring occasionally. Remove from the pan. Combine the broth and flour in the same pan. Add Neuchatel, 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese, garlic powder and pepper; cook for 2 minutes. or until the mixture boils and thickens, stirring constantly with a whisk. Add the chicken and toss to combine.DRAIN the pasta; place in a large bowl. Add chicken mixture; stir to coat. Sprinkle with the remaining parmesan cheese.Tips for the craft kitchen:SPECIAL topping of 2 tablespoons. Slice fresh parsley just before serving.Replace them with whole wheat fettuccine, as indicated in the instructions.JUST before serving, add 2 cups of chopped boiled broccoli.
