½ cup melted butter or margarine
2 large eggs, lightly beaten
½ cup self-made flour
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
½ cup chopped pecans, toasted

Place the brownies in the freezer for 45 minutes or until set to form cleaner slices.
Mix cocoa and sugar together. Add the melted butter and the next 4 ingredients, stirring until smooth. Pour the mixture into a lightly oiled 8-inch square mold.Bake at 350 ° C for 25-30 minutes. Cool. Cut into 2-inch-thick squares and sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.
