Lemon Soda Float

Try a traditional Coca-Cola or root beer by mixing lemon soda such as San Pellegrino Limonata or Newman's own sparkling lemonade with creamy vanilla ice cream.
Divide 2 pints of vanilla ice cream into 6 to 8 serving cups. Pour lemon soda (such as San Pellegrino Limonata or Newman's own Sparkling lemonade) into each glass, using approximately 36 ounces. Wait a few minutes for the lemon soda to set, so that a mushy crust forms around the ice cream.
