Peanut Butter-Toffee Turtle Cookies

Ingredients

½ cup softened unsalted butter
½ cup granulated sugar
½ cup tightly packed light brown sugar
⅔ cup creamy peanut butter
1 large egg
2 cups all-purpose baking mix
⅔ cup of almond butterscotch slices
⅔ cup coarsely chopped peanuts
⅔ cup of milk chocolate slices
10 oz vanilla caramel
2-3 tablespoons whipped cream
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
⅔ cup of melted milk chocolate slices

To make

This turtle cookie has all the flavorings we could use in a recipe: chocolate, peanut butter, caramel, and toffee. You're already making a batch, aren't you?
TIP: The chocolate icing on the cookies will harden as they cool.Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Beat the first 4 ingredients with an electric mixer on medium speed until creamy. Add the egg, beating until smooth. Add the baking mixture, whisking on low speed until smooth. Add toffee slices, crushed peanuts, and 2/3 cup chocolate chips.Place the dough in round tablespoons on greased baking sheets; flatten the dough with your hands.Bake at 350 ° C for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Cool cookies on baking sheets for 1 minute; transfer to wire rack.Heat the caramels and 2 tablespoons of cream in a glass bowl in the microwave over high heat for 1 minute; stir to combine. Continue to cook in the microwave at 30-second intervals, stirring, until the caramels are melted and the mixture is smooth; if necessary, add the remaining cream. Add vanilla. Spread the caramel mixture evenly over the cookie tops; drizzle evenly with the melted chocolate.
