½ cup (4 oz) light cream cheese, rolled
8 toasted slices of cinnamon raisin bread (1.1 oz each)
2 tablespoons finely chopped walnuts, toasted
2 Bartlett pears, peeled and thinly sliced
1 cup alfalfa sprouts

To make

Crisp, ripe Bartlett pears and toasted walnuts from the fall harvest combine in these quick and delicious sandwiches. They are nutritious and excellent for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Pair them with carrot soup with honey and ginger for a dynamic dinner experience.Cooking time: 15 minutes
Spread 1 tablespoon cream cheese evenly on each of the 8 slices of bread. Sprinkle 1/2 tablespoon walnuts evenly on each of the 4 slices of bread. Sprinkle each piece evenly with pear slices, sprouts, and 1 slice of bread. Cut each sandwich in half diagonally.
