Pecan-Crusted Tilapia
Bookmark this page

Ingredients
½ cup pecan halves
4 (6 oz) fresh tilapia fillets
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon garlic powder
¼ teaspoon pepper
3 tablespoons butter
Golden rum and cream sauce
Side dishes: a slice of lemon, a sprig of fresh parsley
To make
Try this delicious tilapia with a simple squeezed lemon or, if you have a little more time, with a delicious golden rum and cream sauce. If you don't have a large enough pan to fit all the fillets, we recommend cooking them in portions and reheating them in the oven at 200 ° C. Tilapia can be replaced with catfish, flounder or orange sauce.
Chop the pecans in a food processor until they are finely chopped. Sprinkle the fish fillet with salt, garlic powder and pepper. Roll the fish in finely chopped pecans.Melt the butter in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat; add the fish and cook for 3 to 4 minutes on each side, or until the fish is browned and grinded with a fork. Serve with a golden rum and cream sauce. Decorate if desired.
