Sage-Roasted Carrots and Turnips

Ingredients

12 ounces baby carrots
4 ounces baby turnips, halved (or peeled, sliced)
2 fresh sprigs of sage
2 tablespoons olive oil
¼ teaspoon kosher salt
¼ teaspoon ground black pepper

To make

Wrap the vegetables in a foil bag so they don't get steamed and can easily be turned all at once. Place the bag directly on the bottom of the oven to allow the vegetables to cook quickly.
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.Arrange the carrots, turnips, and sage on a large piece of foil; drizzle with oil. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Wrap the vegetables in foil. Place the foil bag on a large piece of foil; wrap tightly. Place the bag on the bottom of the oven. Bake at 400 ° C for 25 minutes, turning every 10 minutes.
