1 pound ground turkey
¼ cup chopped green onion
¼ cup dry breadcrumbs
2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
1 teaspoon ground ginger
¼ teaspoon low-sodium soy sauce
¼ teaspoon ground red pepper flakes
Cooking Spray
4 hamburger buns (2 oz each)
To make
"Instead of ketchup, mix some soy sauce and hoisin sauce to spread on burgers. To add spice to the meat, add more ground red pepper before cooking. In keeping with the Asian theme, I usually serve a side dish with a sesame dressing. " - CL Reader
Combine the first 7 ingredients in a large bowl. Divide the turkey mixture into 4 equal portions, forming each into a 1/2-inch thick patty.Prepare the grill or broilers.Place the patties on a grill rack or baking dish greased with cooking spray; cook for 5 minutes on each side or until tender. Serve on buns.
