Avocado-Yogurt Dip with Cumin

Ingredients
¾ cup plain low-fat yogurt
½ cup finely chopped red onion
3 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
1 tablespoon finely chopped jalapeno pepper, unseeded
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
1 tablespoon ground cumin
½ teaspoon salt
3 ripe avocados, peeled, seeded and coarsely chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
To make
Combine this creamy sauce with pita bread chips and carrots, celery, red bell pepper, and jicama sticks. Cook no more than eight hours in advance and store in the refrigerator in an airtight container. To make dinner even easier, use pre-sliced vegetables from the grocery department.
