Banana Pumpkin Smoothie


1 cup low-fat vanilla yogurt
¾ cup canned pumpkin, chilled
½ cup ice cubes
⅓ cup fresh orange juice
1 tablespoon brown sugar
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
⅛ 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Pinch of ground cloves
1 ripe banana, sliced and frozen
Pinch of ground cinnamon (optional)

To make

Frozen banana gives this pumpkin smoothie a thick texture; cooling the pumpkin ensures that the smoothie stays cold when mixed. Add yogurt and orange juice, and you'll have a breakfast drink containing 740 milligrams of potassium per serving.
Combine the yogurt and the following 8 ingredients (via banana) in a blender and blend until smooth. If desired, sprinkle with a pinch of ground cinnamon. Serve immediately.
