Banana, Wheat Germ, and Oats

Ingredients
3 ¾ cups water
1 cup old-style oatmeal
чашка cup of toasted wheat germ
¼ teaspoon salt
1 ½ cups sliced bananas (about 2)
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon butter

Wheat germ and oats make a perfect match: oats give you the taste of whole grains, while nutty wheat germ provides a wealth of nutrients such as vitamin E, iron, potassium, and folic acid. Don't forget the banana slices!
Combine the first 4 ingredients in a medium saucepan and bring to a boil over high heat, stirring occasionally. Reduce the heat to medium-low and cook for 6 minutes or until thickened and warmed thoroughly, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat. Spread the cereal evenly over 3 bowls. Sprinkle each serving with 1/2 cup banana, 1 tablespoon brown sugar, and 1 teaspoon butter.
