Broiled Shrimp and Scallops

Ingredients
¼ cup butter, sliced
⅓ a glass of dry white wine
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
3 squeezed garlic cloves
Pinch of dry crushed red pepper
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 pound large, peeled, pitted shrimp
1 pound scallops (cut in half if more than 1 inch thick)
1 pint cherry tomatoes, halved
5 oz spinach leaves
French bread
To make
Make sure that the liquid in the pan covers the minced garlic. If the pan is too dry, the garlic may burn during heavy frying.
Preheat a broiler with a roasting rack 6 inches away from the element. Pour the butter into a large baking dish and place the pan in the oven until the butter melts.Remove the baking tray from the oven and add the wine and the following 6 ingredients. Add the shrimp, scallops, and tomatoes, and toss to coat.Return the pan to the oven and bake for 3 minutes. Stir in the shrimp and flip the scallops; cook for another 2 minutes. Remove the baking sheet from the oven and add the spinach, stirring for about 1 minute or until it wilts slightly. Serve with French bread.
