Chicken with Artichokes and Lemon

Ingredients
1 ½ pounds boneless and skinless chicken thighs, drained
Salt and pepper
¼ cup all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 cup white wine
1 12 oz. put the artichoke hearts in a jar, dry, and coarsely chop
1 lemon, thinly sliced
1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh thyme

You'll only need one skillet to prepare this simple dish of chicken thighs and citrus-flavored artichokes.
Sprinkle the chicken with salt and pepper and roll in the flour. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook, turning once, until browned on both sides, about 4 minutes in total.Add the wine and artichokes and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat, cover and simmer until the chicken is almost cooked through, 10-15 minutes. Sprinkle the chicken with lemon slices, cover and cook until the chicken is cooked through, another 2-3 minutes. Transfer the chicken and lemon slices to a platter.Add thyme to the sauce and season with salt and pepper if desired. Drizzle over the chicken and serve.
