1 pound salted butter
To make
Melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium-high heat. Cook for 5 minutes or until the butter begins to foam on the surface. Reduce the heat to medium-low; cook for 10 minutes or until foam settles to the bottom of the pan. Remove any remaining foam from the surface. Strain the skimmed butter through a fine-mesh sieve lined with cheesecloth, removing any solid particles.
