Fairy Bread Is the OG Unicorn Toast

Ingredients

1 slice of white bread
1-2 tablespoons unsalted Land O Lakes butter
Rainbow Nonpareil topping

To make

Magic bread, an Australian treat served at children's birthday parties , is OG unicorn toast. An unassuming three-ingredient treat might just be toast spread with butter and sprinkled with rainbow crumbs, but once you try it, you'll realize just how special it is. The magic bread is ridiculously easy to make, but you can't imagine how happy your brunch guests will be with its slide. There's nothing unusual about this appetizer — you can make it with any soft white bread you have on hand. However, since white bread is known for its tenderness, it's best to let the butter soften a little before spreading. The best way to achieve a perfect spread of butter is to preheat a glass by pouring hot water into it, then after a few minutes, drain the water and place the hot glass on top of the butter. Let it sit for a minute or two, then take out the cup so that the butter is ready to spread on the magic bread.Magic Bread
Spread the bread with butter. In a shallow bowl, add plenty of unsweetened rainbow sprinkles. Place the bread with the greased side down on the topping and press it lightly against the bread so that as much of the topping sticks to the butter as possible. Do not use the sprinkling bowl if you plan to bake another slice of magic bread (you know you will), then pour the sprinkling back into the container. However, if you're shooting a video, you'll want to sprinkle nonpareilas on your buttered bread, because it obviously looks so much better that way.
