Fig-Onion Jam

Ingredients
⅓ cup chopped sweet onion
1 teaspoon olive oil
1 teaspoon chopped fresh rosemary
¼ teaspoon dry ground red pepper flakes
1 can (11.5 oz) fig jam
1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
¼ teaspoon kosher salt
To make
Add chopped fresh figs for added flavor and texture.
Saute the onion in hot olive oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat for 4 minutes. Add rosemary and dried crushed red pepper and simmer for 1 minute. Add the fig jam, lemon juice, and kosher salt. Cook, stirring frequently, for 1 minute or until tender. Serve warm.
