This simple 3-ingredient plum sauce is slightly different from traditional Chinese plum sauce because it doesn't have any spicy ingredients. Use it as a filling for grilled chicken or pork, or even as a dessert sauce for ice cream or pie.
Combine all the ingredients in a large saucepan. Cover; bring to a boil over medium-low heat. Reduce the heat to low; cook for 15 minutes or until the plums are tender. Allow to cool slightly. Transfer to a food processor and beat 6 times or until smooth.
