Ingredients

4 ounces semisweet chocolate, chopped
1 stick (1/4 pound) softened unsalted butter
1 cup sugar
3 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
¼ teaspoon salt
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 ½ cups miniature marshmallows
½ cup semi-sweet, bittersweet or milk chocolate chips

If you love delicious brownies, then this dessert recipe is for you. Classic brownies with marshmallows and chocolate chips will be an exquisite dessert, worthy of a dinner party or a simple family dinner.
Preheat the oven to 375°F. Lightly butter an 8-inch square baking dish. Place the crushed chocolate in a medium-sized bowl suitable for a microwave oven. Reheat in the microwave on high power for 1 minute. Stop, stir and put in the microwave for another 30 seconds. Stir and set aside to allow them to cool slightly.Whisk together the butter and sugar until fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, whisking after each addition. Add the melted chocolate, vanilla and salt; mix well. Roll in flour and baking powder.Pour the batter onto the prepared pan, spread evenly, and bake until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean, about 30 minutes.While the brownies are still warm, sprinkle marshmallows and chocolate chips on top. Return to the oven for 2 minutes to allow the filling to melt. Serve with ice cream if desired.
