Green Beans with Lemon and Walnuts

1 tablespoon melted butter
Juice and zest of 1 lemon

This simple side dish from reader Trisha Kruse of Eagle, Idaho, is a great way to add a special flavor to a summer dish.
Pour 1 inch of water into a medium saucepan, insert a steaming wire rack, and bring to a boil under the lid. Put the beans in a double boiler and cover. Steam until it is bright green and tender, 8 to 10 minutes. Drain the water.Place the beans on a serving platter. Drizzle with butter and lemon juice. Sprinkle with zest, salt and walnuts.
