8 ears of corn with husk
1 tablespoon kosher salt
2 tablespoons melted butter

Grilled corn on the cob represents summer like nothing else. Our simple recipe for grilled corn on the cob, cooked in the husk, gets a wonderful, slightly charred taste.
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.Peel the corn from the husk, keeping it intact; peel off the husk and pull the husk back over the corn to cover it. Put the corn and salt in a large roasting pan; cover with water. Let stand for 45 minutes; strain.Place the corn on the grill rack and saute for 8 minutes on each side or until the husks are blackened. Serve the grilled corn with butter.
