½ cup 1% low-fat milk
½ cup vanilla low-fat yogurt
2 tablespoons ground golden flaxseed
1 tablespoon peanut butter
1 teaspoon honey
¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
1 ripe banana, sliced
To make
Start your day right with a peanut butter, banana, and flax smoothie. Not only will it be delicious, but you'll also get a good dose of potassium, protein, and fiber to boot. If smoothies seem too thick, just add another tablespoon or two of milk.
