Ingredients
6 cups crispy rice flakes (such as rice cake)
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
½ cup creamy peanut butter
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
¾ cup powdered sugar

Flakes covered with chocolate icing and sprinkled with powdered sugar are the perfect dessert for a joint snack. The classic puppy chow is prepared in less than 10 minutes using just a few simple ingredients. This is always a fan favorite dessert, but if you don't like sharing, grab the remote control and a giant bowl and treat yourself. In any case, we do not judge.
Place the cereal in a large bowl; set aside.Combine the chocolate chips, peanuts, and butter in a small glass bowl suitable for a microwave; cook in the microwave for 1 minute or until the mixture begins to melt. Remove from the microwave and stir to combine. Preheat in the microwave for another 30 seconds and mix until smooth. Add vanilla.Add the chocolate mixture to the cereal in the bowl; mix gently to coat evenly. Put the mixture in a large zippered plastic bag. Add the powdered sugar to the sachet. Seal the bag; shake until the cereal mixture is completely covered. Transfer the mixture to a baking tray lined with waxed paper; cool completely. Store in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
