2 cans of condensed milk with sugar (14 oz each)
½ cup tightly packed light brown sugar
½ cup butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

This quick caramel frosting recipe is so quick and easy that you'll never go back to buying it at the store.
Place all ingredients in a heavy 3-quart saucepan; bring to a boil, stirring constantly, over medium-low heat. Cook, stirring constantly, for 3 to 5 minutes, or until the mixture is just as thick as a pudding. Remove from heat.Quick Caramel-nut Glaze: Prepare the quick caramel glaze as directed; remove from heat and add 1 1/2 cups chopped toasted pecans.Quick Caramel-Coconut-Nut Glaze: Prepare a quick caramel glaze as directed in the instructions; add 1 1/2 cups sweetened coconut chips and 1 1/2 cups crushed toasted pecans.
