½ cup fresh sage leaves, loosely packed
1 large shallot
½ cup softened butter
1 teaspoon grated lemon zest
½ teaspoon fresh lemon juice
¼ teaspoon freshly ground pepper

Chop the sage and shallots in a food processor.Add the butter and the rest of the ingredients; mix until smooth, pausing occasionally to peel the edges.
