Simple Rice And Beans

Ingredients
1 teaspoon olive oil
2 green onions, sliced, separated from the whites and greens
1 can black beans (15 oz), peeled and rinsed
2 teaspoons taco dressing
½ teaspoon kosher salt
1 (8.8 oz) kilogram. ready-made whole-grain brown rice
To make
Heat the oil in a small saucepan over medium-high heat. Add the white green onion slices and cook for 30 seconds. Add the black beans, taco seasoning, and salt; cook, stirring frequently, for 3 minutes.While the beans are cooking, cook the rice according to the directions on the package. Stir in the hot rice and beans and remove from the heat. Add the tops of the green onions. Place 1 cup of hot rice and beans in a preheated lunch thermos and close tightly. Reserve the remaining rice and beans for another dish.
