Slow Cooker Corned Beef and Cabbage

Ingredients
1 ½ pounds small red potato
4 garlic cloves, peeled
1 (4 lb) corned beef brisket with seasoning bag, washed, trimmed
2 whole garlic cloves
1 small onion
24 small carrots
1 small white cabbage, cut into 8 wedges

Nothing is more reminiscent of St. Patrick's Day than classic corned beef with cabbage. But don't be afraid to enjoy this traditional Irish dish at any time of the year. This recipe is ready due to the fact that your slow cooker does not require much effort, the preparation of corned beef becomes simple.
Place the potatoes and garlic on the bottom of the slow cooker. Place the corned beef on top of the vegetables and sprinkle with the seasoning from the bag. Press the cloves into the onion and add to the slow cooker. Add enough water to cover the meat completely; cover and cook over low heat until tender, 6 hours 30 minutes to 8 hours.Transfer the meat to a cutting board and cover with foil to keep it warm. Transfer the potatoes to a bowl and cover with foil to keep them warm. Add the carrots and cabbage to the slow cooker, turn on high power, cover and cook until tender, about 30 minutes.Slice the beef across the fibers and serve with potatoes, carrots, and cabbage.
