Slow-Cooker Taco Soup

Ingredients
1 pound ground beef
1 onion, diced
1 clove garlic, minced
2 cans of black beans (15 oz each), peeled and rinsed
2 cups water
15 1/4-ounce cans of corn, peeled
15 oz. canned tomato sauce
12 oz bottled green taco sauce
4 1/2-ounce cans chopped green chili peppers
1 oz / kg taco seasoning mix
Garnish with sour cream and grated cheddar cheese.

This soup freezes well, and it's enough to share with a few friends.
Saute beef, onion, and garlic in a large skillet over medium-high heat; drain. In a slow cooker, combine the meat mixture and other ingredients, except for the side dishes. Cover and cook on high heat for one hour. Decorate if desired. Serve with corn chips.
