Smoked Bluefish Spread

Ingredients
2 packs of boneless smoked blue fish (8 oz each)*
¼ cup coarsely chopped red onion
1 pack softened cream cheese (8 oz.)
2-3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
¼ teaspoon ground red pepper flakes
¼ teaspoon salt
Crostini or crackers
To make
Remove the skin from the fish; break it into pieces.Chop the onion in a food processor until finely chopped. Add cream cheese; beat 3 times or until smooth. Add the fish, lemon juice, and the following 2 ingredients; whisk 3 times or mix thoroughly, stopping to clear the sides. Serve with the crostini.* If desired, replace the bluefish with smoked tuna or trout.
