Sugar Cookie Pops

Ingredients

½ cup softened butter
½ cup shortening
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup powdered sugar
2 large eggs
¾ cup rapeseed or vegetable oil
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon tartar
Colored sugar, sparkling sugar and multicolored jammies
4 " white baking sticks

To make

To bake these delicious cookie flakes, simply roll the sugar cookie dough balls in colored sprinkles and insert the white stick before baking. Make a colorful (and edible) decoration for the children's table by filling a container with florist foam, sprinkle it with dragees, and then stick the flakes in the foam.
Beat the butter and shortening on medium speed with an electric mixer until fluffy; add the sugar, whisking well. Add the eggs, butter and vanilla, beating until smooth.Combine the flour and the following 3 ingredients; add to the butter mixture, mixing well. Cover and refrigerate the dough for 2 hours or overnight.Shape the dough into 1 1/2-inch-diameter balls. Roll each ball in colored sugar or jim-jim in separate bowls, pressing lightly if necessary to coat the balls. Place on non-greased baking sheets, 2 inches apart. Insert craft sticks about 1 inch thick into each cookie to make them resemble a lollipop.Bake at 350 ° C for 10-11 minutes or until cooked through. Allow to cool for 2 minutes on baking sheets; transfer the cookie flakes to a wire rack to cool completely.
