Traditional milk punch is made with either brandy or bourbon. We switched those to spiced rum to make a spiced rum milk punch that's just like homemade eggnog-just without the eggs. This creamy smoothie consists of condensed milk with sugar and is flavored with cinnamon sticks and vanilla. The best part? You can prepare the milk punch mix in advance and store it in the refrigerator for later consumption. When you're ready to serve the milk punch, simply add the spiced rum and serve over ice. We sprinkled sugar and cinnamon on top, but feel free to garnish with nutmeg.Milk punch with rum and spices
In a small saucepan, pour the milk, condensed milk, cinnamon sticks and vanilla extract.Cook over low heat, stirring frequently, for 8-10 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool.When the mixture cools, add the rum and mix well.
