Ingredients

2 ½ cups shortbread crumbs (from 10 oz shortbread with pure butter)
5 tablespoons melted unsalted butter
2 cans of twix paste (7.04 oz each)
1 (8 oz) kilogram. softened cream cheese
1 ½ cups heavy cream
¼ cup powdered sugar
¼ cup caramel topping
4 twix bars (2 [1.79 oz] kg), chopped

This decadent chocolate bar-style cake was created especially for twix lovers. Twix spreads can be found on the World Market or on Amazon.
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Combine the cookie crumbs and melted butter in a medium bowl until smooth. Place the crumble mixture in a deep 9-inch pie dish. Bake in the preheated oven until lightly golden brown, 10 to 13 minutes. Allow to cool on a wire rack.Beat together the twix paste and cream cheese using an electric mixer on medium speed until smooth.Combine the cream and powdered sugar in a medium bowl and beat with an electric mixer on medium-high speed until stiff peaks form. Leave 1 cup of whipped cream, and mix the remaining cream with the twix paste.Pour the Twix mixture over the cooled cake pan. Brush evenly with the remaining whipped cream and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight. Sprinkle with caramel sprinkles and sprinkle with sliced twix bars.
