Ultra Creamy Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients
3 ½ cups Swanson® Chicken Broth (Regular, Natural Goodness ™ or Certified Organic)
5 large potatoes, cut into 1-inch-thick slices (about 7 1/2 cups)
½ cup light cream
2 tablespoons butter
Generous pinch of ground black pepper

The secret to giving this potato a special flavor is to cook it in chicken broth. Then the mashed potatoes are kneaded until a perfectly homogeneous mass is obtained with the addition of the desired amount of butter, cream and pepper.
Heat the broth and potatoes in a 3-quart saucepan over medium-high heat until boiling. Reduce heat to medium. Cover and cook for 10 minutes or until the potatoes are tender. Drain the water, reserving the broth.Mash the potatoes with 1/4 cup broth, cream, butter, and black pepper. If necessary, add more broth until the desired consistency is obtained.Perfect mashed potatoes: Add to the hot mashed potatoes 1/2 cup sour cream, 3 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled (save a little for garnish), and 1/4 cup chopped fresh green onions. Sprinkle with the remaining bacon.
