White Sangria
Bookmark this page
Ingredients
6 cups Chardonnay or Sauvignon Blanc
¼ cup extra-fine sugar
1 cup white grape juice
1 ripe pitted nectarine, sliced into thin slices
1 tangerine, thinly sliced
1 cup seedless white grapes, cut in half
1 cup of soda
To make
On a warm afternoon, refresh yourself with a glass of cold white sangria stuffed with your favorite fruit. The best part about this drink is that the longer it is infused, the sweeter it becomes.
In a large jug or other container, combine the wine and sugar and stir until the sugar is dissolved. Add the remaining ingredients, except for the soda, and mix well. Put the jug in the refrigerator and let the sangria sit for at least 1 hour (and up to 4 hours). Over time, sangria will sweeten, so the longer it is infused, the better. Just before serving, add the soda and ice cubes.
