Bacon-Goat Cheese Jalapeno Poppers

Ingredients
2 ounces softened goat's cheese
2 ounces softened cream cheese, 1/3 lower in fat
1 tablespoon grated red onion
.38 teaspoons kosher salt
¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
8 medium jalapeno peppers, cut vertically in half and peeled from seeds
3 center-cut bacon slices, sauteed and crumbled
2 tablespoons red pepper jelly
1 teaspoon of water

Salty bacon, thick goat's cheese, savory sweet jelly and fried jalapeno - it takes teamwork to make your dream come true. If you've already grilled, these mouth-watering little pieces are just as easy to make outdoors.
Preheat the grill to high heat.Combine the first 6 ingredients in a medium bowl; mix well.Place the pepper halves on the jelly pan; divide the filling between the peppers. Bake for 7 minutes or until the peppers are soft and beginning to brown. Sprinkle with bacon.Combine the jelly and water in a microwave-safe bowl; cook in the microwave for 30 seconds or until golden brown. Sprinkle the pepper evenly.
