½ cup all-purpose flour
¼ cup granulated sugar
¼ cup light brown sugar
¼ cup chilled butter or margarine, cut into small pieces
⅓ cup coconut chips with sugar
7 cups chopped peeled roman apples (about 3 pounds)
¾ cup diced ripe bananas
¼ cup apricot jam
3 tablespoons orange juice

To make

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.Lightly spoon the flour into a dry measuring cup; smooth with a knife. Combine the flour and sugar in a bowl; beat the butter using a pastry blender or 2 knives until the mixture is crumbly. Add the coconut flakes.Combine the apple and other ingredients in a bowl; mix well. Spoon the apple mixture into an 8-inch square baking dish or 1 1/2-quart baking dish. Sprinkle with a mixture of crumbs. Bake at 375 ° C for 45 minutes or until golden brown.
