Beer Can Brunch Cocktails

Ingredients

1 can citrus-flavored cold light ale (12 oz.)
1/2 cup (4 oz) cold, fresh orange juice (from about 2 oranges)
1 orange slice
1 can of cold Hefeweizen beer (12 oz.)
1/2 cup (4 oz) cold peach nectar or juice
1 peach slice
1 can of cold lager (12 oz.)
1/2 cup (4 oz) cold tomato juice
1 teaspoon ready-made horseradish
1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
3-4 servings of hot sauce
1 celery stalk

To make

You know what's boring? The same old classic drinks at brunch. Even if you love a good bellini, you probably want something different, so try these cocktails for a beer can brunch. Located somewhere between the Shandie and the Frankendrink, beer can cocktails are a refreshing alternative to the champagne-filled drinks that are usually served at brunch. In a beer can with mimosa, hop IPA is combined with freshly squeezed orange juice. Hefeweisen's light wheat ale is blended with peach nectar to make bellini from beer cans. Finally, the spicy Bloody Mary beer can comes to life with cold lager, tomato juice, and plenty of horseradish (just trust us). While those who prefer to drink from glasses can certainly pour these cocktails into a glass, we think the best thing about drinks that are served in a jar is that they literally beg to be sipped from the outside — perfect for a bartender on the beach or a picnic in it's inside each of us.
