Breaded Shrimp with Honey-Mustard Sauce

Ingredients

Shrimp:
Cooking Spray
½ cup panko (Japanese breadcrumbs), toasted
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
⅛ a teaspoon of onion powder
Pinch of salt
1 large egg white, lightly beaten
12 large shrimp, peeled and pitted (about 3/4 pound)
Sauce:
1 tablespoon whole grain dijon mustard
1 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon orange juice
Pinch of ground red pepper

To make

Bake fresh prawns with seasoned, toasted panko, dip in whipped egg whites, and bake in the oven to make the prawns crispy, so delicious that you won't miss out on the extra fat and calories that are generated by deep-frying. Serve the prawns with homemade honey-mustard sauce as an appetizer or on top of salad greens for a light dinner.
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. To prepare the shrimp, brush a baking sheet with cooking spray. Place the prepared baking sheet in the oven at 400 ° C for 10 minutes.Combine panko, 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder, onion powder and salt in a shallow bowl, stirring with a whisk. Transfer the egg white to another shallow dish. Dip the shrimp in the egg white and roll in the panko mixture. Place on a preheated baking sheet. Bake at 400 ° C for 10 minutes or until cooked through. To make the sauce, mix the mustard and other ingredients. Serve the sauce with the shrimp.
