Broccoli Mac and Cheese

Ingredients
8 oz large uncooked pasta
2 cups chopped broccoli florets
1 ½ cups 1% low-fat milk
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon chopped fresh thyme
2 teaspoons dijon mustard
2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
⅛ a teaspoon of salt
1 slice of bacon, chopped
1 ½ teaspoons unsalted butter
4 ½ ounces grated low-fat cheddar cheese (approximately 1 cup)
To make
Dijon mustard and Worcestershire sauce add zesty depth to this creamy pasta. If you can't find large portions, regular portions will do.
Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the package, without adding salt or fat. Add broccoli in the last minute of cooking; cook for 1 minute. Drain the water.Combine the milk and the following 5 ingredients (with added salt) in a medium bowl, stirring with a whisk until smooth.Preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the bacon; cook for 4 minutes or until crisp. Add the butter to the skillet; beat until the butter melts. Add the milk mixture to the saucepan; bring to a boil. Cook for 1 minute, stirring frequently. Add the cheese. Add the pasta mixture to the pan, stirring to coat.
