Ingredients

1 large sweet onion, sliced
3 tablespoons olive oil, divided
1 pound of pizza baking dough
1 ¼ teaspoons kosher salt
1 teaspoon chopped fresh rosemary

To make


Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. Saute the onion with 1 tablespoon. Heat the oil over medium-high heat for 15 minutes or until golden brown.Squeeze the dough into a 15-inch x 10-inch jelly rollout pan, pressing down to a thickness of about 1/4 inch. Press a wooden spoon into the dough to make indentations at 1-inch intervals; drizzle with the remaining 2 tablespoons of oil and sprinkle with salt, rosemary, and caramelized onion.Bake at 425 degrees on the lowest rack of the oven for 20 minutes or until they are lightly browned.Cooking Express: Replace the chilled pizza dough with 1 can (8 oz) of baking dough. Reduce the salt to 3/4 tsp. Reduce the baking time to 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
