According to this recipe, your favorite pasta dish - alfredo with cream - is easily prepared in one pot. If you like the dish to be more juicy, use more cream. Sunset reader Wendy Hollingsworth from Clinton, Michigan, shared the recipe.
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the broccoli until it is soft and bright green, 2 minutes. Use a slotted spoon to transfer to a colander, leaving the water in the pan. Add the chicken to the pan; cook until opaque, 2-4 minutes. Drain in a colander along with the broccoli.Cook the pasta in the same pot of water until it tastes soft, about 10 minutes. Save 1/2 cup of water for the pasta; drain off the pasta.Simmer the cream, remaining 1/2 cup water, and 1/2 cup parmesan cheese in the same saucepan over medium-high heat, stirring frequently. Add broccoli, chicken and pasta, stirring well. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Serve with a garnish of parmesan cheese.
