Garlic-Butter Broccoli

Ingredients
1 bunch broccoli (1 pound), cut into small pieces, peeled, and cut into thin slices (about 6 cups)
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 clove garlic, minced
¼ teaspoon kosher salt
Freshly ground black pepper
To make
Cook the broccoli in lightly salted boiling water until soft and crisp, 2-4 minutes. Drain the water. Add the butter and garlic to a saucepan and cook until the garlic is tender, 1-2 minutes. Season with salt and add a few pinches of pepper.
