Grilled Pear Salad

Ingredients
3 hard, ripe Bartlett pears, cut into 1/2-inch thick slices
¼ cup red wine vinegar
½ (10 oz) can of pitted raspberry jam
2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
1 squeezed garlic clove
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon seasoned pepper
⅓ cup canola oil
1 pack (5 oz) of gourmet salad greens
½ small red onion, thinly sliced
2 cups fresh raspberries
¾ cup honey-roasted cashews
4 ounces shredded goat's cheese
To make
Preheat the grill to 350° to 400 ° (medium-high). Cook the pear slices, covered with a grill lid, for 1-2 minutes on each side or until golden brown.Whisk together the red wine vinegar and the following 5 ingredients in a small bowl; add the canola oil in a slow, even trickle, whisking constantly until smooth.Combine the salad greens, the next 4 ingredients, and the pears in a large bowl. Drizzle with the desired amount of vinaigrette and toss to combine. Serve immediately with the remaining vinaigrette.
