Ham-and-Bacon Quiche

Ingredients

1 pack chilled slices (15 oz.)
1 egg white, lightly beaten
6 slices of bacon
½ cup chopped onion
1 cup chopped fresh mushrooms
1 ½ cups halved
1 cup chopped boiled ham
6 eggs, lightly beaten
½ teaspoon salt for seasoning
½ teaspoon black pepper
2 cups (8 oz) grated swiss cheese
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

To make

This quiche is sure to appeal to real men, because it includes all sorts of delicious ingredients: ham, bacon, mushrooms, cheese and cream. But the best part is that the chilled pie crust reduces the cooking time to just 20 minutes.
Place 1 piece of cake on a 9-inch-deep pie dish as directed on the package; trim the dough around the edges of the pie dish.Spread the remaining crust on a lightly floured surface; cut out the desired shapes with a decorative 1-inch cookie cutter. Brush the edges of the cake pan with beaten egg white; gently press the dough forms against the edge of the cake. Pierce the bottom and sides with a fork.Place the cake on parchment paper or aluminum foil; fill the cake with pie filling or dried beans.Bake at 400 ° C for 10 minutes. Remove the mixture and cover with parchment paper; bake for another 5 minutes and set aside. Reduce the oven temperature to 350 degrees.Saute the bacon in a large skillet over medium-high heat until crisp. Remove the bacon and dry it on paper towels, leaving 2 teaspoons of the filling in the pan. Crumble the bacon and set aside.Saute the chopped onion and mushrooms in the hot sauce for 3-4 minutes or until tender.Combine the bacon, onion mixture, halved, and the following 4 ingredients in a large bowl. Combine the cheese and flour; add to the bacon mixture, stirring until smooth. Pour the mixture over the cake.Bake at 350 ° for 45-50 minutes or until a wooden stick inserted in the middle comes out clean. (If necessary, cover the edges with aluminum foil to avoid browning.) Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
