Bookmark this page

Ingredients
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
1 ham steak (approximately 1 1/4 pounds), cut into 4 portions
½ cup orange juice
1 teaspoon dijon mustard
2 cups diced fresh (or canned) pineapples
To make
Add a sweet and tangy twist to this ham steak with orange juice, mustard, and diced pineapple.
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt the butter. When the froth subsides, add the ham and cook, turning once, until browned on both sides, about 8 minutes in total. Transfer the ham to a plate and reduce the heat to medium.Pour the orange juice into the pan and use a wooden spoon to scrape the browned pieces off the bottom of the pan. Add the mustard and cook until the liquid thickens slightly, about 3 minutes. Add the pineapple and cook for another 2 minutes, then return the ham to the pan and flip it over to coat in the sauce.
