Ingredients
¼ cup honey
2 tablespoons dijon mustard
½ teaspoon ground ginger
¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
⅛ a teaspoon of ground cloves
Cooking Spray
4 boneless pork chops (4 ounces each) with loin tenderloin (about 1/2 inch thick)
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
To make
Add a savory sweet flavor to your traditional pork chop recipe by stewing pork chops over honey, with a dash of Dijon mustard, ground ginger, cinnamon, and clove glaze. Serve with mashed potatoes, so that it is better soaked in the sauce.
Combine the first 5 ingredients in a bowl.Preheat a large nonstick skillet coated with cooking spray over medium-high heat. Sprinkle the pork with salt and pepper; cook for 2 minutes on each side or until lightly browned. Reduce heat to medium-low; add honey mixture. Cook for 10 minutes or until tender, turning the pork once.
