Ingredients
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 ½ teaspoons salt
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
⅔ a glass of milk
⅓ cup chopped vegetables
To make
Preheat the oven to 425ºF.Sift together the flour, salt, sugar, and baking powder in a mixing bowl.Make a well in the flour mixture and add the milk.Add the shortening and start kneading with your hands (to slice) the vegetable shortening and flour in the milk until smooth.If necessary, add milk for shaping and mix well.Place on a floured board and gently knead 6 to 8 times.Roll out the dough to a 1/2-inch thickness.Slice the cookies.Place on a baking sheet and bake in the oven for 10-13 minutes.
